VETERAN SINGER, ONYEKA ONWENU DIES AT 72

Celebrated Nigerian singer, songwriter, and actress, Onyeka Onwenu passed away on Tuesday shortly after performing at a birthday party in Lagos.

Onyeka Onwenu reportedly collapsed after performing at the 80th birthday party of Mrs Stella Okoli, Managing Director of Emzor Pharmaceuticals, in Lagos and was taken to Reddington Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. 

The very elegant and beautiful actress, music icon, journalist and politician will be greatly missed by her fans in Nigeria and the world.
