France hosts Olympic 2024 after a century

*AFTER A CENTURY,  OLYMPICS RETURNS TO PARIS*

The 2024 Paris Olympics are finally here with a first-of-its-kind Opening Ceremony, at 10:30 a.m. (PT/ 1:30 p.m. ET), in the heart of the French capital.  

The competition will last for 16 days, from Friday, July 26 and will end with a Closing Ceremony on Sunday, August 11. However, the Olympic schedule is so jam-packed that some sports (soccer, rugby) held preliminary competitions a day or two prior to the Opening Ceremony, on July 24 and July 25.

The Games will involve 329 medal events, 32 sports and endless drama with many presentations.

Snoop Dogg is going to light up the torch as the Olympic Torch Bearer for the Paris 2024.

This year's Olympics will make it the third time Paris will be hosting the mondial. The other times being 1900 and 1924.
