How stress can affect the unborn child: Pregnant women should be protective of their foetus

Being pregnant can be a thing of joy when you are ready for it. Whether married, in partnership, in a relationship, single or cohabiting, expecting a baby can add pressure to the relationship. How you handle this pressure would determine how the stress would affect you and the baby you are carrying.

Research has shown that a pregnant mother's stress can affect a foetus as early as 17 weeks old. This may sound stale, but how is this being put into consideration in relationships? The decision of making babies must be jointly don that way the couple are ready of the challenges when it comes. There would be no reason to back out and leave one party to carry on the responsibility.

The future and health of the baby would determine the structure of your family; compromising their health that early would mean compromising your family's joy and happiness. This is simple; a healthy mother produces a healthy child and health household.

Stress in pregnancy could lead to accumulated poor health conditions such as insufficient child development; hearing loss, cognitive impairment, delayed speech and more. Therefore this explain the connection between a mum and her foetus.

From my point of view, planning pregnancies could be a step closer to prevent early trauma in a child.

Let's say "NO" to trauma in early pregnancy and in pregnancy as a whole.
