Couple attacked, kidnapped while taking a taxi home

Our safety is almost unpredictable. News from Johannesburg, Wim Pretorius of News 24 reveals the shocking attack on a couple who have requested the use of "Uber" after a night out. The couple had believed they were taking what they thought was Uber taxi home- Sunninghill Johanesburg; but turned out to be a "rouge taxi".

Having used the Uber app, as they confirmed, a taxi arrived to picked them up, but turned out to be a metered taxi; from Movida Night club heading home. The couple allegedly requested "Uber taxi via Uber app and paid attention to the details and type of car and driver they would want".

According to the couple, shortly after they departed, two men pushed through the back seat into the car, whom were alleged to be hiding in the boot of the car. It was alleged that the passenger att he front seat was stabbed.
